In July 2021, FlyView launched "Pyramids", an exhilarating experience in the heart of the great pyramids of Egypt. This immersive experience, an 18-minute technical feat, is the result of a first-ever partnership between FlyView and Iconem. But who is Iconem? Created in 2013 by architect Yves Ubelmann, Iconem is a young innovative company specialized in 3D digital surveys of monuments and heritage sites. Its unique expertise combines a culture of technological innovation with a strong field experience.

Active in more than 25 countries, Iconem provides concrete and effective solutions to the irreversible disappearance of the testimonies of our history. Iconem brings together a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, developers, 3D graphic designers and archaeologists, based in Paris and capable of intervening in an emergency to document any monument or site in 3D.

Iconem has combined several techniques to develop innovative protocols with its scientific partners Inria and ENS, and its industrial partners Parrot and Microsoft.

Iconem uses cutting-edge techniques such as photo-grammetry and drones with new algorithms that allow us to generate high quality models quickly and at low cost. The results are photo-realistic environments so precise that they allow scientific study of sites for experts as well as new immersive experiences for the general public.
