New: Launch of Pyramids

On the occasion of its reopening on June 9th, FlyView Paris, the specialist of virtual reality experiences in Paris (Place de l'Opéra) offers a new exceptional journey to the heart of the pyramids of Egypt.

A new and spectacular experience that transports young and old on the tracks of the greatest treasures of ancient Egypt, never seen in France. A trip before the summer vacations and a well-deserved change of scenery

Boarding at FlyView, Place de l'Opéra. Your destination: the pyramids of Saqqarah Meydum and the world-famous Great Pyramids of Giza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On site, put yourself in the shoes of a budding explorer: thanks to the magic of digital technology, you will discover the mysterious history of these monuments that have shaped the culture and imagination of people for 5,000 years.

The world's first virtual reality rendition, FlyView offers an unusual experience not to be missed!

An unusual journey

Equipped with a 360° virtual reality headset, you will discover the great pyramids seen from the sky - a few moments of a privileged flight around these stone giants, for a long time the largest buildings ever built by Man.

A rare opportunity, we enter for the first time inside the Great Pyramids to explore the secret galleries and chambers that protected the sacred remains of the Pharaohs for several millennia.

A true technological feat, the realism of the experience is striking: you will feel like you are really there.

Fun and instructive, the experience is punctuated with information and animations that allow the youngest to discover the thousand-year-old history of these monuments and the secrets of their past.

Explore an exceptional world heritage

Designed in collaboration with the French start-up Iconem, a pioneer in the digitization of heritage, the 360° virtual reality experience is the result of an extraordinary entrepreneurial and scientific adventure that has seen Iconem conduct large-scale 3D digitization campaigns in Egypt and around the world. The technology used consists of a high-definition X-ray composed of hundreds of thousands of photos.

Reunited for this first production, which foreshadows a long adventure, FlyView and Iconem share the same ambition, if not a common challenge:

"By bringing these thousand-year-old monuments to life through the magic of digital technology, we hope to raise awareness among a wide audience about the crucial issues of preservation and rehabilitation of our world heritage."

About Iconem

Iconem is a startup specializing in the 3D digitization of heritage sites. Founded in 2013 and active in 28 countries, Iconem's mission is to contribute to the conservation of these threatened sites by digitizing them for exploration and study. Its team of experts travels around the world, leveraging the large-scale scanning capability of drones and the photorealism of 3D, to scan archaeological and historical sites endangered by looting, urbanization, mass tourism, armed conflict or climate change.

Iconem works with international organizations, governments and communities, and museums of international stature such as UNESCO, the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, the Sultanate of Oman, the Mairie de Paris and the Louvre Museum. Iconem's large-scale 3D models of monuments, urban and rural heritage, and its training courses for professionals facilitate the essential work of conservation and restoration for heritage experts. Iconem also creates digital experiences for museum exhibitions that immerse visitors in magnificent and inaccessible testimonies of our past.

As a result of its partnership with Inria and Microsoft Research, Iconem's technology is based on AI and its computer vision algorithms and has allowed us to become a leader in photorealistic 3D digitization of cultural heritage sites.
